The first step in becoming a Deal Diva is to collect coupons. The best way to do this is by receiving multiple copies of the Sunday paper with the coupon inserts! The are usually at least two inserts, Smart Source and Red Plum (commonly abbreviated to SS and RP). Usually once a month Proctor and Gamble (P&G) will also include an insert. P&G includes items such as Tide, Crest, Pampers, Shampoo, etc.

This Sunday there will be 3 inserts! Albertsons ads come out on Wednesdays (sometimes with doublers). If you don't know what a doubler is see the sidebar "Coupon Lingo." If you receive multiple newspapers you will be able to take better advantage of store sales. With 4 different inserts this Sunday I would try to get them right away. If you already subscribe you can add additional Sunday papers.

When you consider I saved $36 just by using my doublers last week it really is a no brainer. That didn't even include all the coupons I accumulated and used from my inserts.
